Sunny Hunny in Ortley Beach

I arrived with a Group of 6 at 10:50 Am. We made a reservation to make sure all went smoothe. After arrival We put our orders right in and they lost our order . We waited and asked where the food was several times until the manager was sent out. The food came out at 12:35 and two of the meals we ordered were wrong. They did nothing to help us nothing to take care of us . Awful food awful service I will never be coming here again .

Fast, excellent service with a fantastic variety on the menu...featured are the Lox Benedict and Corn Pancakes...all servers were very friendly, smiling and accommodating....for a family breakfast spot or couples...this is the only place to go for breakfast !!

This is the best place on the barrier island for breakfast and lunch. Reasonable prices considering it is in a resort/vacation town. A very extensive menu with many great options. They also serve ice cream which is great and I heard they are going to start offering espresso soon!

We love Sunny Hunny - my kids won’t eat anywhere else. Good value, excellent service, parking - and Elmo!

As diners go, it's adorable. Very homey feel and the food was fresh and delicious.

We've been coming here for years. Food is great and Bernie the owner is always accommodating. Wish it was open all year. Goid Beef hash is the best.

Sunny hunny is amazing! Great for the family and in general just to eat. Everything smells great and it is fresh. The breakfast here was phenomenal I highly recommend this place.

Been coming here for close to 20 years. Food is always good. Today was no different. Food and server were excellent. My issue was the tables on the side of the reaturant .My son and i were bit by flys the entire time we were there. Maybe the owner can invest into some exterminator services so we can enjoy our meal in the future ... Thank you

Typical dinner fare. Unassuming inside. Fair prices. Good if you want a decent omelette or pancakes. Nothing special. Elmo outside is creepy.

My son's food was cold. Hot chocolate was lacking chocolate,aka hot water and milk.

Decent breakfast, had pigs in a blanket with turkey sausage. Definitely would return. Not as expensive as you would think for a resort town.

Great place for breakfast when we are down Seaside Heights. Elmo even made an appearance.

Went to the shore for the weekend. My girlfriends casually walked into the restaurant and recommended that my boyfriend and I go. We were delighted with the food and the ambiance is warm and friendly. The staff is great. Highly recommend you go there if you're looking for a great breakfast place to eat at when you're at the shore.

My family always make it a point to go to Sunny Hunny when we are here. Love the atmosphere, the food is always good, and Elmo is always fun to see.

$25 for overcooked eggs, hash browns were overcooked and some weird spices in them, toast burnt, pancakes subpar, my daughter's omelette came out overcooked with wrong ingredients in it. I don't know what's happened with them...they used to be good years ago. I feel we could've had a better breakfast if we got McDonald's honestly.

Sorry Lavalette, there's just not that many good places to eat in your town. However, Sunny Hunny is a wonderful exception. The breakfasts are delicious and of ample size. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. Can't believe I passed this by so many times. I will not make that mistake again! :-)

Fond childhood memories of going to Sunny Honeys for breakfast. Try to get there at least once a week on Sunday's. PLace has not changed. Service is excellent. Food is served quick.
